Immediate Goals
On September 1st, 2024, NJSEA began anew. Dual membership with NAEA was no longer required.
This was a great opportunity and a great challenge.
In the year leading up to that date the board members and committees worked tirelessly so assure we were ready to go on day one.
Our immediate goals were having new bylaws approved, unveiling our new website, and preforming a review of our current systems, policies and procedures.
Progress has been made on all of these fronts:
- Our new bylaws were approved at the annual meeting and reflect our new relationship with NAEA
- Our website is in place and new content is being added nearly every day.
- Policies and procedures are being updated, job descriptions are in place.
- Our budget is approved, and work will begin shortly on the 2025-2026 budget.
